The current context of Integrated Air Defence is evolving at great speed. Today’s threats combine the traditional use of manned and unmanned aircraft with weapons that are lower in economic and human cost, enabling simultaneous attacks that overwhelm defensive systems at every level.
These new threats range from the upper layers of the atmosphere — or even Space — such as ballistic missiles or hypersonic missiles, down to the lower layers, including cruise missiles and drones of varying sizes, ranges, and types.

At Indra, we promote an effective, multi-domain Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD).
Our next-generation sensors cover the different layers, with early-warning and gap-filler radars, space surveillance radars, and multifunction air defence radars.
They are integrated into our cooperative command and control systems, streamlining planning and tactical decision-making for responses at all levels, and acting on effectors of different types and ranges on any platform.
Our distinctive experience is demonstrated by more than 40 years as the supplier of LANZA 3D early-warning radars and air command and control systems for the Spanish Air and Space Force. We are also a strategic supplier for NATO, including its latest fixed (FADR) and deployable (DADR) early-warning radars with TBM capability, as well as the S3TR radar for the European and Spanish Space Agencies, among many other strategic projects in Europe and internationally.
